The Longing. Again.
It's the longing that gets me. I know I've mentioned it just one or two times before, but the longing for food that hasn't yet made the 'free from' rounds really gets me. Now, no matter what I do, I want a croissant. I want to eat foods that will mess me up, just for the taste. I want the pleasure of tasting again.

Longing For Food There are a LOT of foods I can’t eat. A lot. I crave those forbidden foods, so much so I can feel it deep down in my bones. Sounds a bit like an odd expression, but it’s true. Sometimes, I even feel like I can taste the food. The foods I’ve eaten way back when are one thing, but foods I’ve never eaten before have this odd sort of taste memory for foods I’ve never even touched before. It’s … odd. Not a picky eater.
Not just a picky eater. I get so many people – friendly, family, random people, and strangers on the internet telling me that I’m a picky eater. I wish. If I were a picky eater that would mean that I didn’t have to worry about cross contimination, it would mean I’d have more choice when out, and it would mean that maybe one day I could try eating the food that I’ve cut out again.
